Mini-Grant Showcase Evening

On January 31st, The Mahwah Education Association hosted a dinner and mini-grant showcase to thank the Mahwah Schools Foundation for the mini-grants that have been awarded to the teachers of the school district. Elaborate presentation boards showcased over sixty grants from all six public schools.

Among the guest speakers of that evening was Joseph Coppola, President of the Bergen County Education Association, who expressed amazement at the supportive relationship between the MEA and the community at large. According to Coppola, the resulting partnership is “unique” to Mahwah.

With over one hundred teachers, administrators, principals and MSF trustees in attendance, it was a wonderful evening that seemed to further solidify the common objective shared by all attendees; to provide excellence in education to the children of Mahwah.
