As president of the Mahwah Schools Foundation, I’d like to share with you my vision for the future of our organization. Our partnership with the educators in our community is an important factor in our rapid growth and has brought increased awareness to our mission and purpose. I’d like to continue to foster this relationship, which has significantly contributed to the increase in dollars raised each and every year. I hope to encourage our teachers to continue to think creatively in an educational world that is becoming increasingly challenging to our children. Supplementing the curriculum with innovative programming through the funding of teacher mini-grants will ensure that our children remain on the cutting edge of education.

My next challenge will be to bring greater awareness to the corporate community, engaging them in our efforts to a far greater degree. It is also my goal to inspire parents to continue to participate in a process that the entire community needs to be involved in, because OUR CHILDREN ARE THE FUTURE!

We have embraced the power of internet technology, recognizing that it has become the lifeline to communication. Within these pages, you will find information on our upcoming fund raising events, updates on our grant program, and our most current publication with entertaining articles regarding the schools. In addition, the upcoming months will bring added features that will upgrade the website to enhance its usefulness.
